Abstract

As a trainee public officer, the resident exercises by delegation and under the responsibility of his/her senior practitioner. In terms of compensation, the insurance company of the hospital often takes responsibility for any misconduct unless the fault is described as “without any link with the department”. However, generally, residents incur an indictment for their misconducts (criminal and disciplinary consequences).
