Abstract

War is a part of the history of humanity. Combat casualty care needs to be periodically adapted to transformations in mechanism of combat injuries. Hemorrhage has clearly been identified as the main cause of preventable death. Since most of deaths occur in the first minutes on the battlefield, performing combat casualty care remains challenging, starting directly at the point of injury. Actually, Tactical Combat Casualty Care training and Medical Treatment Facilities development are the keystones to improve mortality rate on the battlefield.
