Sources and management of conflict within the healthcare team

Abstract

Conflict is part of the everyday life of a healthcare team, partly due to the characteristics of the job. Conflict is also strongly linked to the environment: Its specificities within the intensive care unit have been extensively reported in the literature. Prevention is therefore essential, either at an individual level or as part of a department project. Opportunities to solve conflicts exist and will be developed in this article.
