Abstract

The aim of a Rapid Response Team implementation is to provide a rapid response to life threatening emergencies but also
to provide a rapid and specialized response to patients with rapid worsening of their clinical status before the life threatening
emergencies occur. This manuscript presents the rationale for its implementation and the barriers that need to be circumvented
for a successful implementation.
